Thanksgiving Verses

Here are some Bible verses that call us to give thanks.

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thess. 5:18) 

 . . . always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Eph. 5:20)

Give thanks to the LORD, proclaim His name; make known among the nations what He has done. (Psalm 105:1)

Praise the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. (Ps. 106:1) 

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. (Ps. 107:1) 

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts . . . And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. (Colossians 3:15-17)
